Sometimes mornings don’t go as planned. This morning, I was all settled in with my tea for an early morning work session. Of course, my daughter decided to get up an hour early today. Which she hardly ever does!

I reluctantly went upstairs to get her dressed and fed her breakfast. I opened up my computer while she was eating to get in at least a few minutes of work. What happened next almost brought me to tears and made me shut the laptop until her nanny arrived an hour later.

So for the next hour we played in her homemade fort which through the holes in the quilt we used as the roof, she showed me the stars. Our children, especially when they are young and innocent, can teach us so many things. Listen. Take Time. Love.
